Hamzanama Project

The Hamzanama project was three weeks long. The whole batch was divided in a group of four to five individuals each. Each group was distributed a text from the Hamzanama stories.

In the first week, the groups read the distributed text and made a solitary drawing by combining each individuals thoughts. This whole week was dedicated to create different iterations of such drawings

In the second week, the groups started working on designing the installation. Each group made conceptual models to experiment with the forms. A couple of days were given to experiment and finalize the design. The rest of the weeks were solely dedicated for execution and construction of the life sized installation.

Each group had a concept on which they were working on. The concept on which our group was working was 'Vast'. We needed to construct our installation so that it would give a sense of vastness. One of the focuses of this module was learning to use different building equipment, process and materials.
