Pattern and Forces

This studio focused on observing and studying objects with simple mechanisms we find in our day to day lives. Each individual needed to collect such objects from their surroundings and pick one of them to study.

The object I had chosen was the ' Puran Maker'. There were various steps to study the objects. 

The first step was to explode and study the form and mechanism.

Then simplify the forms into planes, lines and dots. This made it easier to study them. Next we had to identify the forces acting on these objects while in motion.

After identifying the forces, we studied how the form of these objects helps to tackle these forces acting on them while in motion.
